Norwich Sky

This one is a bit of a different take than usual for me. It was fun working with both brushes and knives. Thanks for looking. Let me know what you think. I'm adding a detail shot of part of the lower building mass.

Most paintings look like the detail shot. I like it that your painting is a bit different in that it is long on top and so much of sky. I like the combo of knife and brush.

I, too, like that the main focus is in the length and detail of the sky. Really draws the eyes to that part. Very powerful.

Do you sell your paintings? I absolutely adore the sky in these paintings.

I think this painting is SO good, such a great idea! I have only done a couple attempts at painting and clouds were the most challenging but this is awesome to be sure.

Hello, very nice clouds. I am always impressed how your perspective is spot on with buildings and I see it is there in the clouds too. I like the orientation of the painting and the patch of blue near the top.

I love the way it draws my eyes up from the buildings to the top! Well done.

That's why so many of us travel to Norfolk to paint. The skies are spectacular, and in this painting you have really done them justice. Great effort.
