Waterview Farm

This farm is located in a tiny place called Waterview, Kentucky. This house has sat empty for quite a few years now. I took a photograph of it as I was going down the road one wet day recently, and worked from that.

Autumn Grace

Not much to say about this one. All palette knife. Thick paint in places. Lots of fall color.

Thanks for looking. Detail shots included.

Landscape at Saint Martin la Plaine

Here's one I did today. The landscape part is from Google Street View. It's in France. The peasant woman is compliments of my good friend Pissaro. She hails from one of my favorite paintings by him. I do hope he doesn't mind loaning her to me for a short time. Although he might be spinning at his easel with the outcome.

This one was fast and loose. A bit more dark and impressionistic than my normal. Thanks for looking.

Dogwood

This is my first still life with a bunch of small limbs in front of me. Pretty daunting to say the least.
