Through the Rubble

Here's a 30" x 40" in the current series of nocturnes I'm painting.  I'm digging the abstract quality that keeps coming out of these.

Believe it or not...

Not sure what to think of this. This little blurb about me appears in a 2010 Ripley's Believe It or Not book. It was under the Art category, but I still think it should have been under the Most Handsome category. Even without a picture.

The Homeplace

I think this one is finally finished. I've worked on it, off and on, for a few weeks now. I like it today. Now tomorrow, that's another thing...

On the Back Porch of the Brown-Lanier House

The Brown-Lanier House at Mill Springs, Kentucky is at the site of the first Union victory of the Civil War. The house was used as a hospital after the battle. This view is of the back porch and outbuildings. If not done, it's close.

Dunagan's Store - Mill Springs, KY

I do believe this is the finished piece showing Dunagan's Store at Mill Springs, KY.

Available on my website unframed. Lots of emails regarding this one. A much loved place.

Park Light

Today I did a larger version of a previous painting from about a year ago. I like the looseness.
