I love this Bill. I was thinking that this would be a perfect piece for exemplifying the Ashcan school of thought for the Following the Masters challenge too. Gritty was the same adjective I'd have thought of for this piece.

Bill,
Reminiscent of your painting "Utilitarian" which I liked very much. This also reminds me of the painting "Upper Deck by Charles Sheeler which I have always liked. Looks as if you do really enjoy painting these mechanical and utilitarian types of form plus you paint them very well.

Thanks Steven. Why yes...yes it is. ;) Email and we'll talk.

Thank you Liz.

Thanks AutumnLeaves. I haven't participated in that challenge yet. Might be a good time to start.

Appreciate the kind words, Prabha.

Hello William. Thanks. I do enjoy painting the grit every now and then. :)

Well I feel like a big dummy that I didn't know you started Virtual Paintout. I came to see your other art and it is super. I hope to jump in on VP soon. Thanks for the inspiring painting!
