Washington & School

Here's one I did for next month's Virtual Paintout. I can't let anyone know the location until January 1, 2011, but the name of this one is a hint (for those willing to search).

"Washington & School"
9" x 12", oil

You have definitely peeked my interest! I googled Washington and School and there were MANY choices. I did pull up a few on google maps and did a quick look to no avail. I'm looking forward to January 1st for the place to explore!

Love your painting - as always!

Unlike Linda, I will wait for tomorrow to see where the challenge is. My guess is in America, right?

Happy New Year may it bring you peace and happiness.

Just found this... I didn't realize you gave out hints as to the next month's VP location!
Happy New Year and congratulations on the Making a Mark award. That was the first Art Blog I followed and I agree that you have created an amazing project for artists here on the Net.

Congratulations Bill, on winning the Mark award - well deserved. Thanks for hosting such a great blog.

Love your painting of Boston. The sepia look is great, with just a touch of red and green. Very nice work, and happy painting in 2011.
