Salt Lick Barn - Plein Air

Did this plein air piece today. Below you'll see it after the initial lay in of dark on my toned masonite board. Below that you can see my daughter working on, and then proudly showing off, her painting.

What a wonderful moment to share with your daughter. I hope when my son is older he'll show an interest in painting with me.

Hi Bill,
How wonderful that your daughter goes out to paint with you. I'm sure she will have fond memories of spending time with you when she is older, and hopefully she will continue her love of art as she grows. I love the virtual paintout series, and your tutorials about ground color.
thanks for sharing your wonderful work,
Faye

Hi Faye. Thanks for visiting. I really enjoy having all of them paint with me. But the little one, pictured here, is the most patient. :) The other daughter and wife get bored much quicker.
