Farmland No. 69

I wish I could paint big canvases all the time. So much fun.

Farmland No. 66

I thoroughly enjoyed the organic nature of how this one evolved. The basis was a satellite view of some fields in France, but it soon took a life of its own. This one is heavy, painted on 1/2" plywood.

New Orleans

With this last one in the rooftop series I think it's becoming obvious to me where it's going. The paintings are starting to emerge in my own mind and eye as a more expressionist subject and finished product. Buildings change and morph into other shapes and objects as the painting progresses. Pretty exciting.

NYC Rooftop Cityscape

Seriously thinking about leaving this one as is, not adding any color. It's a big one.

NYC Rooftops

Here's a very quick and messy rooftop painting from New York City. I'm going to go big with one of these rooftops soon.
