Cabins and Fauntleroy House

Here's another from the First Brush of Spring in New Harmony, Indiana. Touched up and ready to hang on a wall. While painting this one, C.W. Mundy road by on a bicycle and yelled that nobody could heckle me since I was behind the fence. But you see, the fence kept the rotten tomatoes from hitting me too. Double win.

The Painted Rooster

Did this one in Rugby, Tennessee today. The little building houses the Painted Rooster art gallery. Nice community, and extra nice people.

New Harmony Sheep and Farmhouse

Finally finished this one up that I started on location. When I pulled up to the farm I wasn't sure what kind of animal was in the field. I thought it had to be sheep, but looked like hairy pigs. Then, as I painted, I noticed how a couple of them looked like miniature buffalo. So, for me they are sheepiguffalo. Pronounced sheepiguffalo. ;)

Blue Shed and Forsythia

Did this one in New Harmony's First Brush of Spring plein air event this past week. Since I didn't place in the competition, it's very easy to second guess the choice of which painting to enter. I keep thinking this is the one I SHOULD HAVE entered. Might not have made any difference though. Either way, I'm happy with this one.
