Painted this iron from life this afternoon. I had it set up to teach my kid's class how to use there paint brush to measure and get the correct angles. The class went well, but I just had to come back and see if I could capture it in paint.

Something about this simple painting really speaks to me. I like the color choices and simple shape. It's great when something so familiar is viewed through a new lens.
