Isham Burkes' House (9x12)

I did this one this evening just before dark. It was done plein air. The house sits across the road from my house, and was the former home of one of the founding fathers of our town. His name was Isham Burkes, who the town was named for in 1810.

Great Sand Dunes Schoolhouse (5x7)

I did this from a photo I took back in 1997 at the edge of the Great Sand Dunes on the high plains of central Colorado. Distance is confusing there, as it looks like you could walk from the old schoolhouse to the dunes in a few minutes, but they're actually miles away.

I enjoyed this one.
