Well done Mr. Guffey. First I gasped when I dscovered this amazing and precious woman. I covered my mouth, my eyes and heart filled and I simply sat and marveled. The eyes, the smile, the gray streak, the character, the love. You've shared her and given a gift.Certainly, she would be amused and honored. It's highly likely that she was quite an artist herself.Just look at all she created.I'll bet sometimes she even did it by drawing, using a simple lead pencil and filling in color with crayons.Making the color more subtle by filling in and scraping away, until she had it just so. Maybe not gallery worthy, but real. I would think Santas might have been her speciality.
