Meltdown

Went back to a little stream in the woods today. Didn't think it was that cold when I first went out, but before long was warming my hands in gloves.

    What a lovely scene. Really nice color palette.
    I don't think we'll be seeing anything like this for a while yet! More snow coming tonight!

    My gosh but it looks soooo cold! this ice absolutely sparkles. (It's a lovely 26degC here today!)

    It's melting! Mud is a sure sign spring isn't coming, isn't it? A truly gorgeous palette in this one, and just a wonderful look at nature.
