Here's a painting I finished tonight. It shows a building in Denver called The Oceanaire. I really liked the looks of the building along with the ability to bring prospective into play with this one.
Thanks for looking.
"The Oceanaire"
24" x 20", oil on linen

I wouldn't want a painting of this, no "feeling" in this for me but the work is great.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyable geometrics. It would be great material for an abstract piece.
ReplyDeleteI had to click on it to enlarge the photo to be sure it WASN'T a photo - it looked THAT realistic! Wow!
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful. You really make these cities come alive.
ReplyDeleteReally cool Bill!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Prabha!
ReplyDeleteHi Technobabe. Yeah, the geometrics, starkness, and pseudo-abstract quality of this is not for everyone. Appreciate your input.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mick. I suppose the more simple I paint, the more toward abstraction I move. Although this one appears lifelike in rendering, there definite abstract things going on. And that's not a bad thing. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Pat. Thanks so much. I'm pretty happy with the way this one turned out.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chad.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sioux Falls. I enjoy buildings and architecture in general.
ReplyDeleteHi Frank. Thanks so much for the comment. This one was different for me in many ways.
